Collected flags will be properly burned at the Memorial Day Watchfire, on Sunday, May 26th, at the Veterans Memorial Watchfire Park, located at the New York State Fairgrounds. The Watchfire is open to the public. Sponsored by the Central New York Chapter of the Vietnam Veterans of America, the pyre begins at dusk.

Friends of Jordan Bramley Library meet on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 12:30 pm in the Community Room.

Let your child unlock their imagination in the Children's Room. A cozy place for children of all ages to explore. With lots of books to read, & character dolls to hold, the Children's Room is the gateway to a lifelong love of reading for your child.

Staffed & maintained by Friends of Jordan Bramley Library, you can obtain used books, from the Book Nook, by way of donation. The Book Nook is open during regular library hours.

The Community Room is available for groups up to 65 in number, with a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, tables and chairs available for your use. A $25.00 charge may apply with a $25.00 security deposit.

Classes in paper crafting, the art of quilling, & lessons in painting are just some of the activities offered throughout the year. Children's programs are offered during the summer. Jordan Open Mic is held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month, and annual events include the Annual Rummage Sale, the Annual Book Sale, held at the Jordan Fall Festival, & the Annual Christmas Festival.

The Jordan Historical Society Museum is adjacent to the library in the Horace W. Whitley Community Center. It holds a treasure trove of local history & artifacts. The museum is open on Memorial Day Monday, Holiday Tree Lighting Day, or by appointment.

The Board of Trustees meet in the Community Room on the 3rd Monday of the month at 6:30 pm. (We do not meet in February or July.)
The Annual Meeting is held in January.
